Ambiance Boutique

The local boutique that has every fashionista shopping til they drop located in Downtown, San Luis Obispo

Shopping is always a good idea, am I right friends? You can find my genuine happy dance break out when I find a clothing boutique that has endless options of trendy and fashion forward pieces for me to add to my dressing room. Ambiance is that unique boutique that will definitely bring out your own happy dance because, girl, they have everything your heart - and closet, desire. 

Ambiance first opened its doors in 1973 and was purchased in 2004 by its current owner and local Cal Poly graduate, Kannyn January. She also opened a second location in Paso Robles, CA in 2013. 

I truly love the store's name, Ambiance, because their overall aesthetic, vibe, and should I say - ambience is truly gratifying. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by many stylish and friendly faces who are eager and ready to help you find your next date night outfit, holiday dress, or anything your wardrobe is craving. There's more than enough to choose from with two floors filled with accessories, shoes, and clothes including their best selling brands: Free People, Frye, and Michael Stars (who we all know I wear and LOVE - see related post here). 

One of my personal fave brands they carry is Wildfox. Uber comfy tees and sweatshirts that always seem to know what's on my mind. They are a great and stylish way to incorporate self-expression into your wardrobe, making your style and personal aesthetic just that more unique. A similar and slightly more affordable brand to Wildfox is Social Decay, shown below. And yes, naps are the best and current fashion statement of choice. 

Ambiance truly enjoys partnering with other local small businesses and gives back to the community constantly. They thoroughly enjoy donating to local charities as the proceeds from the raffle at their annual holiday party along with 10% of their sales goes to Dream Makers of San Luis Obispo. Dream Makers is a wonderful non-profit organization that grants wishes to terminally ill adults and their family members in San Luis Obispo. Ambiance is not only a great boutique for women to shop at, but a great asset and contributor to the San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles communities.  Didn't you hear? Local is the new black.
